Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a state‑of‑the‑art, fully automated manufacturing site in West Devon. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop both technically and professionally within a market‑leading business that continues to invest heavily into the site and its people.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and fault‑finding on a range of automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and production efficiency.

Sector – Factory Maintenance

Non‑Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer

• Either electrically or mechanically biased – electrical bias.
• Backgrounds considered from manufacturing, industrial, or Armed Forces REME (Army, Navy, RAF).
• Comfortable working in tough industrial working environments.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience carrying out planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance.

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Hands‑on fault‑finding experience.
• Recognised engineering qualification.
• Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
