About The Team

Our bridges and civil structures team works across transportation, water, and energy sectors. Clients include National Highways, Transport Scotland, Network Rail, Welsh Government, Department for Infrastructure, MOW Bahamas, Local Authorities, and D&B Contractors. We have multiple long‑term contracts and are expanding into new regions and markets. Recent and ongoing projects include:

  • Avonmouth and Severn Bridges SBIM contract
  • Lagan Pedestrian and Cycle Bridge
  • Clyde Waterfront & Renfrew Riverside
  • Scotland North East and South West Trunk Road Management
  • Glass Windows Bridge replacement
  • A66 Northern Trans‑Pennine
  • ADEPT Live Labs 2 Decarbonisation programme
  • M8M73M74 Motorway Improvements DBFO
  • National Highways Scheme Delivery Framework
  • Transpennine Route Upgrade

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Bridges and Civil Structures Graduate you will be:

  • Part of an experienced team working on exciting and challenging projects across the UK and internationally.
  • Help develop practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures, from investigation to optioneering, feasibility, concept and detailed design, construction supervision and asset management.
  • Undertake structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
  • Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
  • Assist with bridge inspections, investigations, structural health monitoring, and supervision of works.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of world‑class data, analytics and digital technology solutions.
