Senior Assembly Technician in Biggin Hill, Greater London

Job Summary

Fortis Recruitment Solutions is recruiting an experienced assembly technician for a precision engineering company located in the Biggin Hill area. The role requires mechanical assembly and fitting skills; any experience in brazing is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the complete assembly process for products that take between 6 weeks and 6 months to complete.
• Maintain accurate documentation throughout the assembly stage.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Ensure high attention to detail and compliance with mechanical engineering standards.

Requirements

• Experience in precision mechanical assembly and fitting.
• Knowledge of brazing (advantageous).
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Capability to work 37.5 hours per week across four days (Mon – Thurs) and secure baseline security vetting.
• Not eligible for sponsorship due to security clearance requirements.
