Salary: £55,000 – £65,000

Overview

An Electrical Design Engineer will lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for building services projects. The role involves preparing technical specifications, schematics, design reports, coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery within company and customer standards, ensuring health and safety compliance, supporting business development through fee proposals and tenders, and maintaining accurate technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for building services projects
• Prepare technical specifications, schematics and design reports
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Support business development: preparing fee proposals and tender submissions
• Maintain accurate technical documentation for projects

Requirements

• Background within Building Services/MEP/Lighting Design/Low Voltage Power industry and/or related field
• Experience using AutoCAD; experience with REVIT is desirable but not essential
• Strong organisational, communicational and analytical skills
• Knowledge or experience in sustainability sector preferred
• Ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders
