Motor Injury Supervisor

Your new company Our client is a well-respected defendant firm who are currently recruiting for a Defendant Motor Injury Supervisor to join their Manchester office. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week requirement in the office. There may be a level of flexibility for those further afield. Your new role Oversee and mentor a team of 10-15 litigators handling motor injury claims. Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with best practices and client service standards. Monitor team performance and support professional development. Manage a reduced personal caseload of litigated motor injury claims, including complex and high-value cases. Draft pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documentation. Conduct negotiations and attend hearings where required. Maintain strong relationships with insurer clients and other stakeholders. Provide clear, strategic advice and timely updates on case progress. Ensure cases are progressed efficiently and in line with client expectations. Contribute to process improvements and implementation of best practices. What you’ll need to succeed Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (NQ) Strong background in defendant motor injury litigation, including supervisory responsibilities. Excellent knowledge of civil procedure and litigation processes. Minimum of 2 years MOJ/OIC portal experience (including non-qualified experience) Proven ability to manage a team and mentor junior colleagues. Strong organisational and communication skills.
