We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our clients growing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative, high-quality products, supporting development from early concept through to production and ongoing product improvement. Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and assemblies Support analysis activities, including thermal, structural, and system-level performance considerations Collaborate with cross-functional teams across mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering Support prototyping, physical builds, and hands-on testing activities within R&D Participate in design reviews and contribute to engineering decision-making processes
Strong experience in CAD design, ideally using SolidWorks Good understanding of at least one core engineering discipline, with awareness of others: Mechanical systems Electrical systems Knowledge of thermal and/or structural analysis techniques Previous experience in product improvement and engineering change processes Experience working within a regulated or controlled engineering environment (e.g. aerospace, medical, automotive, defence, or similar)…
