What you’ll have the opportunity to do as a Data Engineer
Designing, building and maintaining robust data pipelines for processing and transforming data Working with both batch and streaming data across modern cloud-based platforms Collaborating closely with architects, analysts and wider engineering teams to deliver scalable data solutions Applying software engineering and DataOps best practices including testing, automation and CI/CD Engaging with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions Contributing to Agile delivery through active participation and continuous improvement
About the Candidate
The right Data Engineer should have:
Proven experience working in a Data Engineering role within complex or data-rich environments Strong programming capability in Python, SQL or similar languages Experience working with cloud platforms and deploying data infrastructure Understanding of data modelling, orchestration, and secure data handling practices Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
