We’re working with a specialist engineering business developing embedded systems used in environmental and industrial measurement applications. They are looking for a Systems Engineer to join their R&D team, playing a key role in the design, integration and validation of complex embedded products.
This is a hands-on engineering position where you will work across firmware, electronics and mechanical disciplines to help define system requirements, develop architecture, and ensure robust integration of hardware and software components.
Working closely with firmware, electronics and mechanical engineers Integrating hardware and software components into full systems Experience in embedded systems or systems engineering Strong understanding of C / C++ development Exposure to electronics, PCB-level systems or microcontrollers Experience working across engineering teams in a product development environment This role offers the chance to take ownership at system level — working across the full product lifecycle from requirements through to integration and testing, in a highly collaborative engineering environment.
