CRANE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN GATESHEAD PERMANENT DAY SHIFT
Zenith People are partnering with a long‑standing, reputable organisation to recruit a talented Crane Technician. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining and optimising the performance of overhead cranes and lifting equipment across a fast‑paced operational site. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Crane Maintenance Technician who’s looking to grow their career within a supportive, hands‑on manufacturing environment. Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns on cranes and lifting systems. Conduct scheduled inspections, testing, and routine servicing activities. Manage maintenance workloads, ensuring tasks are prioritised and completed efficiently. Provide input to improve maintenance routines, schedules, and overall equipment reliability. Maintain accurate and compliant records for all crane and lifting equipment maintenance activities. Communicate essential information to management, engineering teams, and colleagues across shifts. Update stores and parts records during each shift. Support the training and development of team members as required.
Previous experience with preventative and reactive maintenance on overhead cranes is essential.
