Trainee Project Co-ordinator / Graduate EngineerContract Type: Ongoing Contract

Our client, a leading global technology provider to the traditional and new energies industry, delivering fully integrated projects, products and services, is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Project Co-ordinator / Graduate Engineer to join their team in Easter Ross.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting the coordination and execution of complex subsea and offshore construction projects while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The role offers an excellent entry point into the energy sector, with strong potential for long-term career progression. You will support the delivery of multi-million-pound projects and begin your journey toward becoming a skilled Project Co-ordinator within a world-class engineering environment.

As a Trainee Project Co-ordinator, you will work closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to support the successful planning and execution of major engineering and energy projects. You will assist with project scheduling, documentation, reporting and coordination activities across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

Support Project Managers in tracking project milestones and monitoring daily progressAssist with managing project schedules, forecasting production and coordinating simultaneous projectsLearn and use project management software to maintain timelines and support execution strategiesSupport the management of scope changes, client requests and variation ordersCoordinate communication between engineering, commercial teams, subcontractors and other departmentsPrepare, review, and maintain tender documentation and project reportsEnsure resource alignment and support effective manning levels across projectsContribute to the successful delivery of complex subsea and offshore construction projectsBachelor’s degree (BSc/BEng) in Engineering, Energy, Science or a related disciplineStrong organisational and time-management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsInterest or familiarity with the energy, oil & gas, offshore, or energy transition sectorsOpportunity to work on high-profile, multi-million-pound offshore engineering projectsHands-on training and mentoring from experienced industry professionalsExposure to large-scale subsea and offshore operationsExcellent career development and progression opportunities within the energy sectorIf you are a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to launch your career in project coordination within the energy industry, we would love to hear from you.
