DevOps Engineer : Up to £300 per day Outside IR35 : Hybrid North East A specialist technology company is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a 3-month contract to build out a scalable job orchestration and results platform across an existing compute cluster and customer-facing API.
Key Responsibilities as a DevOps Engineer:• Extend Slurm cluster job scheduling via Docker and test AWS expansion• Design and implement a big data storage layer for optimisation outputs (MongoDB or S3-backed)• Integrate monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)• Extend Vue/Python dashboards and deliver IaC templates with full documentation
Big data database design: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Hadoop/S3• Python/Flask for API development• Contract Details:• Day Rate: Up to £300.00 per day Outside IR35• Contract Length: 3 months• North of England preferred, hybrid• Start Date: ASAP
