Chefs typically work a maximum average of 45 hours per week, with no split shifts, helping to create a healthier and more sustainable working environment.The Role Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will support the day-to-day running of the kitchen whilst helping to maintain consistently high standards across all food operations.This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a chef who enjoys working with fresh, seasonal ingredients and thrives within a busy, fast-paced kitchen.Responsibilities will include:Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operationsPreparing and presenting high-quality dishes to consistently high standardsSupervising and mentoring junior members of the brigadeAssisting with stock control, ordering and minimising wasteMaintaining food hygiene and health & safety standardsContributing ideas for seasonal menus and specialsHelping to create a positive and professional kitchen cultureStepping into leadership responsibilities in the absence of senior chefsThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across multiple areas of the resort’s food operation, gaining valuable exposure and development within a growing business.About You We’re keen to speak with chefs who can demonstrate:Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef within a hotel, resort or quality restaurant environmentA genuine passion for fresh, seasonal foodStrong organisational skills and attention to detailThe ability to work calmly under pressure during busy service periodsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsA positive and proactive attitudeA desire to continue learning and progressing within hospitalityExperience within a multi-outlet hotel or resort environment would be advantageous, although attitude, passion and work ethic are equally important.Why Join?
