Job Title: Quality Inspector Salary: £32,000–£36,000 Location: Chester
Key Responsibilities: Carry out detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods Ensure all products meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, and required quality standards Record and maintain accurate inspection data and quality documentation Identify, contain, and report non-conforming products in line with procedures Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) Work closely with production and quality engineering teams to resolve quality issues efficiently Use a range of inspection and measurement equipment (e.g., callipers, micrometres, gauges, CMM where applicable) Support internal audits and ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards
Skills & Experience: Previous experience as a Quality Inspector or similar inspection role within a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of quality control processes and inspection techniques Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications High attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience using precision measuring equipment and inspection tools Manufacturing or engineering background preferred…
