Design, develop, and test mechanical components and mechanisms for aerospace and defence applications Conduct structural and thermal analyses, including Finite Element (FE) modelling, to ensure performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with electrical, software, and systems engineering disciplines Support prototyping, testing, and practical assembly of mechanical systems and mechanisms Contribute to design reviews and support engineering decision-making across project lifecycles
Strong understanding of structural and/or thermal analysis and FE modelling techniques Proficiency in mechanical design software (CAD) and analysis tools for structural, thermal, and mathematical modelling Familiarity with one or more of the following: gears, motors, or mechanical mechanisms Practical experience in building and testing mechanical systems and mechanisms Excellent communication skills and proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)…
