MedicsPro is currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join a team based at the Civic Centre in Newport, working with adults with learning disabilities.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced practitioner looking for their next role within a busy and rewarding adult services setting.
You’ll be working with adults with learning disabilities, carrying out assessments and reviews, managing a varied caseload, and supporting positive outcomes for individuals and carers. This role will suit someone who is confident working in a fast-paced environment, whether that’s within front door services, community teams or hospital discharge pathways.
Experience of assessing and reviewing adults with learning disabilities Confidence managing complex cases and risk Understanding of safeguarding and the protection of vulnerable adults Comfortable using Microsoft Office / Windows systems Commitment to confidentiality, professional standards and ongoing development
