Working closely with senior chefs, you will play a key role in the day-to-day kitchen operations, preparing and cooking dishes to specification, maintaining organisation and efficiency, and contributing to a seamless and refined culinary experience within a luxury hospitality environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, cook and present dishes according to recipes, quality standards and presentation guidelinesManage your designated kitchen section, ensuring consistency and efficiency in service deliveryRegulate temperatures of ovens, grills and other kitchen equipment to ensure optimal cooking conditionsMonitor food quality, portioning and presentation to maintain the highest standardsAssist with the preparation of hot and cold dishes, including special meals and dietary requestsMaintain accurate food logs and ensure compliance with food safety standardsCommunicate effectively with the team during busy service periods to ensure smooth operationsInform senior chefs of excess stock for use in daily specials and menu planningLiaise with Food & Beverage teams regarding menu items, special dishes and availabilityEnsure all work areas are clean, organised and compliant with hygiene and sanitation standardsReport maintenance issues, safety concerns or equipment faults promptlyFollow all company policies, health & safety and food safety proceduresCore CompetenciesWe are seeking a motivated and detail-focused culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and is committed to excellence.
