QC Engineer – Nuclear | £65,000 + Benefits | Permanent Role Deeside | Boccard UK

Join Boccard UK at an exciting time of growth as we expand our presence in the nuclear energy sector. We are looking for a Quality Control (QC) Engineer to join our team at our state-of-the-art, fully digital manufacturing facility in Deeside .

Implement and maintain Project Quality Plans & Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) Review fabrication documentation, LTQRs, weld procedures & calibration records Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) including root cause analysis & corrective actions Conduct internal and supplier audits, supporting quality improvements Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams Support the delivery of right-first-time manufacturing excellence

Strong background in pipe spooling / fabrication environments Experience working within nuclear or highly regulated industries Advanced knowledge of welding procedures and quality compliance Proven experience managing NCRs and quality documentation

We are open to candidates with relevant NVQs, PCN Level 2 certifications, or equivalent experience PCN Level 2 Radiographic Interpretation (minimum requirement)
