An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering organisation operating within the water and wastewater treatment sector.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Leading all technical aspects of projects during the execution phase
• Ensuring projects are delivered in line with technical, programme, and budget requirements
• Developing costed technical proposals and supporting tender submissions
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Liaising with internal stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and external partners
• Producing engineering documentation, feasibility studies, and technical assessments
• Supporting specification and technical alignment of process equipment
• Conducting design risk assessments and supporting procurement activities
The successful candidate will ideally have experience within the industrial water treatment sector and strong knowledge of:
• Reverse osmosis and ion exchange technologies
• Pumps, vessels, tanks, and associated process equipment
• Hydraulic design, process calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, and mass balances
• AutoCAD / Plant 3D
• Technical proposal development within engineering project environments
Candidate profile:
• Degree or technical qualification in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
• Proactive, organised, and accountable approach to project delivery
