Commercial Manager – Civil Engineering – £30m turnover business

West Midlands offices

Salary circa £120,000 + package

Very well established and respected – part of a larger construction group

Commercial Manager required for a very well established and respected civil engineering business located in the West Midlands region.

Working with a team of 4-5 Quantity Surveyors you will be responsible for the:

• Financial management of the projects
• Client welfare & relationship building
• Profit maximisation through live schemes
• Risk awareness and mitigation
• Management of the Surveying team (reviews, assistance, etc)
• Overseeing budgetary responsibility
• Taking responsibility for contractual matters on projects and with clients and stakeholders
• Various other traditional commercial manager duties on a day to day basis
• JCT and NEC forms of contract
• Circe 10-14 live projects operating at any time.

• Operating on schemes valued between £1m – £8m typically
• Over 25years trading history
• Working with various major building contractors and end users

Covering civil engineering across:

• Défense
• Education
• Healthcare
• Commercial & Industrial

Works will typically include:

• Bulk excavation and earthworks
• Ground beams, floor slabs, and pile caps
• Foundations
• Specialist tanking installation
• Retaining walls
• Substructures & Basements
• External works & Hard landscaping

Rewards

PAYE : Salary to suit experience level. Expected circa £100,000 – £130,000 + Car package, Pension, Holidays, etc

LTD Company Status : Outside IR35 with contract for services issued. Expected £500 – £600per day
