Driver Hire Uxbridge are now recruiting for HGV Cat C (Class 2) HIAB Drivers on behalf of our client, one of the UK’s fastest growing builder’s merchants based in Hayes£20.50 to £24.50 per hour (PAYE, including holiday pay)Rates vary depending on experience, and overtimeMonday to Friday 05:30am starts dailyTypical Shifts: You will carry out multidrop deliveries to commercial customers and building sitesComplete deliveries safely, efficiently, and on timeSecure loads correctly using appropriate methods (e.g. strapping)Communicate professionally with customers to confirm delivery details and resolve any issuesCarry out routine vehicle checks (fuel, tyres, fluid levels, etc.)Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usageComply with all road safety and driving regulationsAdhere to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.A flexible approach to working start times as dictated by the needs of the business. Requirements: Valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence held for at least 2 years (maximum 6 penalty points; no DR, DD, TT, IN, or MS90 endorsements)Valid HIAB certificationValid CPC and digital tachograph cardMinimum age of 25 (insurance requirements)At least 1 year of Class 2 HIAB driving experience (references required)Good level of physical fitness (manual handling involved)Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)Good understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety standards If you’re a reliable and motivated driver with a commitment to excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you.
