Job description Staffline Recruitment are working in partnership with my client, a large food processing company based in Duncrue, Belfast who are urgently seeking a Machine Operator/Forklift Operator potentially on a temporary to permanent basis for the right personHours of WorkThis is a floating rota role and may involve working any shift within the following times:Monday to Friday6:00am – 2:00amIf production is not completed by 2:00am, you will be required to remain on site for overtime. This may run as late as 3:00am, 4:00am, or 5:00am, depending on business needs.Rate of Pay £ per hour Summary of RoleResponsible for carrying out routine mechanical tasks and ensuring the effective upkeep of machinery, with the aim of minimising downtime and supporting the smooth running of the Production DepartmentDuties and ResponsibilitiesCarry out machinery and equipment safety checks as requiredEnsure efficient and uninterrupted operation of machineryTransport goods and pallets across site using a counterbalance forkliftEmptying and Loading LorriesMaintain accurate and up-to-date departmental recordsMeet daily production requirements as instructed by the Production Management TeamMinimise downtime and wasteOperate a counterbalance forklift (experience required) Essential CriteriaPrevious experience within a food manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail with experience in record keepingGood awareness of health and safety legislationExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsGood standard of written and spoken EnglishAbility to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines and targets…
