You can join a fast-growing, tech‑led media and events business as their next Engineering Manager. They’re building out a brand‑new data platform Azure, Databricks, but this role is heavily focused on the software engineering and integration side of things. The journey starts by owning complex API layers and mentoring growing engineers, while you grow into the responsibilities of a Head of Engineering.
I learnt something new today. The events world relies entirely on third‑party connectivity, and you’ll own the API layers to enable Azure Data Platform.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and scale robust API layers.
- Manage complex integrations with external third‑party event platforms.
- Support, coach, and upskill a growing team of developers.
- Help your team with code reviews and debugging.
- Bridge the gap between core software delivery and the new Azure data platform.
- Help bring Agile delivery and scalability.
WHAT YOU NEED
- A solid software engineering background.
- API design and heavy integration experience.
- Azure cloud experience.
- People management or solid mentoring experience.
- Deep Databricks experience is a big bonus.
