We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Estimator to join our Belfast team, playing a key role in delivering hassle-free environments for clients and supporting engineers with expertise. Reporting to the Contracts Director, we are looking for a professional who can bring proven knowledge of estimating practices, commercial awareness, and the ability to influence outcomes across complex contracts. Managing diverse contracts across both Public and Private sectors throughout the UK and Ireland. Conducting site surveys to assess building services and evaluate tender requirements. Preparing accurate cost estimates by inputting labour resources, materials, and specialist contractor prices into the Estimating Programme. Developing bid strategies in collaboration with the business development team to optimise contract award success. Supporting procurement and operations teams during contract mobilisation. Building comprehensive market knowledge, including competitor analysis and delivery strategy options. Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in either Mechanical, HVAC or Electrical Services trades and with a minimum of two years’ experience in an estimation role post trade qualification or Building Services qualification HNC/HND with a minimum of two years’ experience in an estimating role. Experience working with a computer-based cost management system, as well as proficient in the use of Microsoft excel & Word. Wide experience in the hard services industry, including mechanical, electrical, building fabric and specialist maintenance Desirable Criteria: Comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, competitors and potential growth opportunities. Experience in minor maintenance project works.
