The role supports the day-to-day food operation across the restaurant, bar, room service, and events while ensuring consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency within the kitchen team.The successful candidate will be passionate about food, organised during busy service periods, and capable of maintaining high standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation & Kitchen Operations Prepare and cook dishes within the assigned kitchen section to the required standardsEnsure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion controlAssist with food preparation before service and maintain smooth kitchen operations during busy periodsSupport functions, events, and banqueting operations where requiredEnsure all dishes are prepared and served in a timely mannerTeamwork & Kitchen Support Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service deliveryMaintain a clean, organised, and well-prepared section at all timesSupport and assist junior kitchen staff when neededCommunicate effectively with colleagues across all kitchen operationsStock Control, Hygiene & Safety Monitor stock levels within the section and report shortages where necessaryEnsure correct food storage, stock rotation, and waste control procedures are followedMaintain high standards of cleanliness and comply with HACCP/Cook Safe procedures xwzovoh Follow all health & safety and allergen regulations at all timesSkills & Competencies Good culinary skills and understanding of kitchen operationsAbility to manage a kitchen section during serviceStrong attention to detail and food presentationAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentGood communication and teamwork skillsFlexible attitude towards shifts, weekends, and busy operational periodsNOTE – Applicant must have the full right to work in the UK to be considered for the role….
