An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading product development consultancy delivering innovative solutions across the healthcare, consumer, and industrial sectors. Working on a diverse range of technically challenging projects, you will take ownership of product development programmes from concept generation through to manufacture, combining hands-on engineering expertise with project leadership and client management responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:
Lead product development projects from concept through to manufactureManage client relationships and provide technical guidance throughout projectsDevelop innovative mechanical design solutions for complex engineering challengesCreate 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentationCarry out engineering analysis, testing, and design validation activitiesManage project delivery to agreed timescales, budgets, and quality standardsKey Skills & Experience:
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentExperience designing electro-mechanical systems, medical devices, mechanisms, and other complex high-tech productsStrong 3D CAD experience using SolidWorksProven xwzovoh experience developing products from concept through to manufacturePractical workshop skills prototyping and testingExperience with engineering analysis tools such as FEA and CFD is a mustStrong project management and client-facing skills
