We’re looking for a passionate, hands-on hospitality professional ready to take the next step in their career as our Assistant Catering Manager.Supporting the Catering Manager, you’ll help lead an outstanding food and beverage offer across our café, Members’ Bar, Grill and events spaces – from everyday visitor service through to high-profile functions. No two days are the same, and your energy, leadership and love of great hospitality will make a real difference.

What You’ll Be DoingSupporting the day-to-day running of all catering outlets – Hospitality & Events, Members’ Bar, Café and GrillTaking a hands-on leadership role during service and events, leading by example and keeping standards highPlanning functions alongside the wider Commercial team and delivering hospitality requirements to a high standardProviding daily leadership, guidance and support to the catering team – and deputising for the Catering Manager when neededSupporting staff training and development in food safety, service standards, licensing and cash handlingManaging stock control, ordering, rotation and waste reductionCollating weekly timesheets, supporting rota planning and completing duty reports after each shiftContributing to menu development, revenue initiatives and event planningEnsuring full compliance with Health & Safety, allergen, hygiene and licensing regulations

What We’re Looking ForExperience in a supervisory or assistant management role within catering or hospitalityA hands-on, proactive approach with strong leadership and team engagement skillsPassion for delivering high-quality food and a first-class visitor experienceSolid understanding of food safety, allergen management and licensing requirementsStrong organisational and communication skills with excellent attention to detailFlexibility to work across weekends, evenings, bank holidays and eventsCommercial awareness and an eye for continuous improvement
