Description
- Assist in monitoring and managing client accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Support the preparation and distribution of client statements and reminders.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing queries and disputes.
- Maintain accurate records of client communications and payment agreements.
- Assist in preparing regular reports on outstanding debts and cash flow forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all credit control activities.
- Provide administrative support to the wider Accounting & Finance team as required.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller Assistant should have:
- Previous experience or knowledge of credit control or similar financial operations.
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
