If this sounds like something you’d like to get involved with, we would love to hear from you!What you will be doingRun and take full ownership of your designated kitchen section, ensuring consistently high standardsStep up to support the Sous Chef in their absence, overseeing wider kitchen operations as neededContribute to menu development, specials and seasonal changes alongside the senior kitchen teamMentor and develop CDPs, Commis – lead by example on the pass and on sectionAssist with pastry production and dessert preparation as neededManage stock levels, supplier quality and waste reduction within your sectionEnsure your section meets all food safety, hygiene and health and safety regulations at all timesKeep preparation ahead of service and maintain a clean, organised section throughoutWe are looking for someone who…Has a minimum of 2–3 years’ experience as a CDP in a hotel, restaurant or high-volume professional kitchenCan confidently run any section independently with minimal supervisionHas working knowledge of pastry and dessert preparationDemonstrates leadership ability and a genuine interest in developing junior team membersShows strong organisational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressureHas solid food safety knowledge (Level 2 Food Hygiene or above preferred)Communicates effectively in English, both spoken and writtenWhat do we expect from you?Be Natural – We want our people to be themselves, genuine and non-scripted.
