You will lead by example, maintaining exceptional service standards while supporting, training, and developing team members to deliver memorable guest experiences.Key Responsibilities Operational Excellence Manage 100% of the bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient daily serviceSupervise, train, and support bar team members to maintain high performance standardsControl and ensure compliance with daily and monthly inventory procedures (glassware, crockery, cutlery, décor, and bar equipment)Monitor and complete departmental reporting in line with company proceduresOversee preventive maintenance, deep cleaning schedules, and bar equipment checksEnsure correct setup and maintenance of dispensing systems, dosing machines, and related equipmentMaintain up-to-date menu knowledge, including beverage lists, promotions, and seasonal offeringsEnsure full compliance with operational checklists and brand standardsEnforce strict adherence to hygiene, health, and safety regulationsSupport continuous improvement of departmental procedures and service qualityWhat were looking for Previous experience in a supervisory role within a bar or hotel environmentStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a teamExcellent knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar operationsGood understanding of stock control and inventory managementStrong organisational and communication skillsA proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for hospitalityKnowledge of health & safety and hygiene standardsBecause belonging to the great Meli family is being VIP At Meli, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
