Role Overview
We are seeking a female Senior Home Care Assistant to support a female client in their own home, in line with their requested preference. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced carer who is passionate about making a difference in people’s lives. Sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including dressing, bathing, and toileting
- Administer medication safely and accurately
- Assist with basic food preparation and light housework
- Support clients with shopping and daily living activities
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Follow tailored care plans to meet individual needs
- Take responsibility for the shift and oversee care workers and home carers
- Respond to emergencies and provide guidance to care staff
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with families and managers
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a care role preferred, but full training is provided
- Care Certificate desirable
- Access to a car for work is required
- UK Driving Licence essential
- Strong communication skills and ability to work flexibly under pressure
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: From £12.82 per hour
- Generous mileage allowance (25p per mile when using your own car)
