Job Details

  • Role: Senior Support Worker
  • Salary: up to £35,000
  • Location: Monkton Heathfield
  • Hours: 2 on, four off rota

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with managers to oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring smooth day and night shifts.
  • Provide direct support to the children.
  • Act as a mentor and supervisor to staff.
  • Lead the maintenance of a safe, nurturing environment.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce or an equivalent qualification (e.g., a degree in Health and Social Care), or currently working towards it.
  • A full, clean driving licence.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a residential setting.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capability to mentor and support others.
