What You Will Do

• Manage a caseload under the Care Programme Approach, providing essential support to adults with severe mental health needs.
• Complete statutory duties under the Care Act 2014 to ensure comprehensive care for service users.
• Embrace a strengths-based and recovery-focused model to empower individuals on their recovery journey.
• Safeguard vulnerable adults while conducting risk assessments and care planning.
• Promote positive risk-taking and foster independence among service users.
• Collaborate effectively in multi-agency and multidisciplinary team settings.
• Apply critical legislation including the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 1983, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Human Rights Act 1998.

Requirements

• Social Work England Registration.
• Previous experience in Adult Social Care or Mental Health settings.
• Strong UK driving licence.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary team environments.
