Full Time – 37.5 hours a week
As Therapy Patient Coordinator, your primary role is to ensure the smooth administrative running of the Therapy Department and assist clinical staff with non‑clinical duties. You will greet clients, handle enquiries via phone, email, and in‑person, maintain stock levels, ensure authorisations are obtained before appointments, gather payments, and reconcile financial records.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure a warm and courteous welcome to all visitors.
- Collect relevant information from clients in a polite, confidential and friendly manner.
- Communicate effectively with patients, clients and colleagues.
- Inform clients about charges, UTA/DNA policies.
- Respond to all enquiries professionally and helpfully.
- Send letters and other information as required.
- Follow up with referrers when patients cannot be contacted or do not attend.
- Book interpreters as needed.
- Manage post deliveries to and from the post room.
- Store and file necessary documentation.
- Collect payments for treatment and equipment and liaise with accounts, private insurers and embassies.
- Resolve payment queries with accounts and arrange credit notes if required.
- Enter daily charges, run departmental reports to confirm accurate entries, and perform additional stockkeeping duties.

- Experience handling money in a business setting.

- Excellent computer skills.
- Strong time management and prioritisation.
- Ability to work independently.
- Capability to cope with stressful situations involving emotional or challenging patients, carers or visitors.
- Awareness of diversity and ability to respond to individual needs and preferences.
