Flame Health are currently recruiting for an award winning independent practice based in Bristol who seek a Dispensing Optician to join the team.

• Hours: 5 days a week, 8.45am to 5.30pm (no Sundays or Bank Holidays)
• Salary: £35kplus bonus

• Working alongside well trained Optical Advisors, Dispensing Opticians, Practice Managers and Optometrists

Dispensing Optician – Requirements

• GOC registered
• Strong customer service ethos
• Team player
• Good communication skills
• Proactive with great organisational skills
• Dedicated and flexible to meet demands of a growing business
• Be knowledgeable about lenses and frames, their background, features and benefits.
• Be able to recommend suitable products to customers and use the customers language to explain the features and benefits
• Check and fit spectacles to a high standard.
• Use your knowledge to a maintain high level of customer service in clinical dispensing.
• Take facial measurements on children and adults.
• Be aware of your own KPIs and be proactive in developing and maintaining them.
• Maintain a friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere in practice.
• Pro-actively remain up-to-date with your training and assignments.
• Work with the team to grow and develop the practices.

To be considered for this Dispensing Optician vacancy you will need to be qualified and registered with the GOC and have a demonstrable experience of working as a dispensing optician.
