Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Group Financial Director based in London to lead our Group financial reporting function and ensure strong governance and a robust control environment across our international operations. Reporting to the Deputy CFO, this key leadership role partners closely with senior stakeholders and private equity investors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of high‑quality monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements, ensuring full compliance with IFRS/US GAAP.
- Oversee and continuously enhance the month‑end close process, improving efficiency and maintaining strong financial controls.
- Manage the Group audit cycle, acting as the primary liaison with external auditors and ensuring timely resolution of findings.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Develop and maintain Group accounting policies, providing expert technical guidance on complex transactions.
- Monitor and assess emerging accounting standards, preparing technical papers and policy updates.
- Partner with FP&A, Tax, Legal, and Commercial teams on strategic initiatives and transactions.
- Drive finance transformation, including automation, ERP optimisation, and adoption of data and AI‑enabled tools.
- Collaborate with the India‑based Global Capability Centre (GCC) to standardise processes and maintain data integrity.
- Work closely with IT and transformation teams to align finance systems with the wider business strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CPA).
- 10+ years’ post‑qualification experience.
- Strong technical accounting expertise, including Group consolidations.
- Proven experience in multi‑entity, international organisations.
- Deep understanding of audit, controls, and financial governance.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in a private equity‑backed business.
- Exposure to working with offshore finance teams or Global Capability Centres (India preferred).
- Involvement in M&A, transformation, or integration programmes.
- Background in high‑growth or acquisitive organisations.
