Senior Solutions Architect (Front Office Consultant Architect) – 14782

Location: London – 50% office attendance required. Some flexibility possible for personal circumstances.

Contracting Authority: Government Client

Contract Length: Expected duration: 2–3 years, subject to programme needs. Contract extended on six month rolling basis. May convert to permanent if the programme becomes long term.

Top 3 Skills

• Experience with transport ticketing hardware (gates, validators, TVMs)
• Strong architecture capability across hardware + software
• Previous experience with transport ticketing suppliers (Cubic, S&B, INIT)

Front Office – Essential Domain Skills

• Ticketing industry background (highly preferred)
• Experience with gates, TVMs, validators, smartcard systems
• Understanding of magnetic ticket processing
• Knowledge of validation device architectures

Must have

• Requires a blend of hardware design, packaging design, and software architecture, typically found in transport ticketing providers such as Cubic, Scheidt & Bachmann, or INIT.
• Broad knowledge of customer facing and back office technologies and architectures, particularly those that relate to public transport operations.
• Of graduate calibre with an excellent understanding of structured architecture approaches such as TOGAF.
