Room Leader – Roehampton SW15 – ASAP Start
A friendly and well‑established nursery in Roehampton is looking to appoint a confident and experienced Room Leader to join their Early Years team on a full‑time basis as soon as possible.
Role
- Leading a nursery room and supporting day‑to‑day operations
- Planning and delivering engaging EYFS activities
- Supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing
- Leading by example and supporting junior staff members
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years essential
- Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
- Room Leader or senior practitioner experience preferred
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Passionate, nurturing and proactive approach
The Level 3 qualification must be full and relevant in line with DfE staff:child ratios.
Various working hours available.
Salary
- GBP 14.25 – 18.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
