RIG Locums are urgently seeking a Locum Medicine Consultant with an interest in Diabetes/Endo to begin work in the North West as soon as possible.
This job is for an initial period of 3 months with a potential extension according to whether or not there is an ongoing need. Average working hours are 40 hrs per week including weekends.
The hourly rates are negotiable and there is accommodation to be reserved on site if needed.
Job Plan
- Mon-Fri 8:30-12:30: ward round
- 3 afternoons a week, 1-5 PM: clinic – this could be on any site
- 1 afternoon a week, 1-5 PM: clinical admin
- 1 afternoon a week: off
- 1 weekend in 7: 8 AM-3 PM AMU + wards
- Other ad-hoc clinics and admin as needed
PLEASE NOTE: that the Directorate will only accept applications from Consultants who are on the Specialist Register
