CPL UK are delighted to offer a superb new locum opportunity, working alongside private insourcing companies who are assisting with NHS wait lists. We are supplying Consultants in numerous specialties across multiple locations for weekend work and are now focusing on sourcing additional Orthopaedics Consultants for support for the coming months.
We urgently require two GMC Specialist Register Consultants in Orthopaedics to cover either clinics and/or surgical procedures for every Saturday and Sunday for the next three months. This work is suitable for local substantive consultants who are free most weekends or for very experienced locum Consultants seeking part‑time work. The work is based in the Devonshire region and is paid £1400-£1700 per day, paid directly to your limited company once a month. This work is booked via Limited Company payments only.
This is a highly sought after opportunity and we are looking to speak with candidates who can commit to a minimum of covering two weekends per month throughout August to October.
To be submitted for this work, the criteria are straightforward and we must have each document below before the company and Trust clinical lead will review the CV.
Responsibilities
The role involves covering clinics and/or surgical procedures on Saturdays and Sundays for the next three months, in the Devonshire region, on a locum basis.
Requirements / Documentation
- 2 recent references
- DBS certificate (update service preferred)
- GMC certificate or annual renewal letter
- UK or Irish Passport or EU settlement status for full time work in the UK
- Occupational Health reports
- Indemnity certificate (MDU or MPS)
- Appraisal details – most recent summary pack
- Mandatory training certificates including life support
- KPI / Log books for procedures
