Principal EC&I Engineer

NRL offers opportunities for Principal EC&I Engineers at Tenet Consultants Ltd., an engineering and design consultancy headquartered in Warrington, with a new office in Anglesey, North Wales. The role focuses on delivering niche design and technical services across various industry sectors, primarily nuclear.

Scope of Work

• Concept & Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Studies
• Electrical Distribution Systems
• E&I Building Services
• Programmable Electronic Systems (PES)
• Process Control Systems
• Fire Alarm Design & Integration
• Normal & Emergency Lighting
• Cameras and security
• Alarm systems
• Asset Care
• Functional Safety

Qualifications

• Experience working within a highly regulated industry, preferably nuclear.
• HNC minimum, ideally degree qualified and a Chartered Engineer.
• Leadership experience and ability to develop junior engineers.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Technical oversight capability.
• Design in accordance with IET 18th edition (BS7671).
• Conversant with CAE tools such as AutoCAD, CAESAR, PDMS, etc.
• Fluent in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Ability to obtain BPSS clearance.
