Bluebird Care is a leading Home Care provider in Oxfordshire, committed to delivering outstanding, person‑centred care in customers’ own homes.
Location: Oxford, South and West Oxfordshire
Salary: £28,000 per annum.
This role is part of our senior management team, supporting the Deputy Care Manager and Customer Care Managers in ensuring the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Support the efficient running of a designated area and supervise Care Assistants.
- Assist with customer assessments, care planning and risk assessments.
- Ensure care plans are regularly reviewed and updated in line with customer needs.
- Guide Care Assistants to deliver safe, high‑quality care.
- Work closely with coordinators to match Care Assistants with customers effectively.
- Monitor and update MAR charts and customer records.
- Participate in the emergency out‑of‑hours on‑call rota when required.
- Support quality assurance, investigations and continuous service improvement.
- Promote customer dignity, independence, privacy and choice at all times.
- Ensure all care delivery complies with Bluebird Care policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements
- Caring and compassionate nature with a commitment to high‑quality care.
- Experience working within care services.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Good understanding of person‑centred care and support planning.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational and administrative skills with computer literacy.
- Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and health & safety within care services.
- Relevant social care qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points and access to a vehicle with business insurance.
- Willingness to participate in flexible working and on‑call duties.
Desirable
- Experience supervising care staff.
- Previous experience completing risk assessments and care planning.
