Project and Data Officer – Music
We are looking to recruit a Project Lead and Data Officer to join our Westmorland and Furness Music Service Team. You will support the delivery of the Music Service and the Cumbria Music Hub programme and strategic priorities. This post requires a highly organised, enthusiastic, and proactive person with proven Arts Management and Leadership skills, dedicated to providing high‑quality musical opportunities for children, young people, and their educational settings.
Responsibilities
- Support the Music Service and Cumbria Music Hub leadership team to project‑manage and deliver our suite of programmes across the county.
- Develop and maintain business systems to collate and monitor participant engagement, enrolment, attendance, progression analysis and participant feedback; prepare data reporting requirements and returns for external funding bodies and the DfE.
- Take a supported lead in multiple smaller projects at various life‑cycle stages from initial scoping through delivery and completion.
- Provide administrative support to our out‑of‑school programme of activities (evening, weekend, holiday courses) and attend courses, rehearsals and events in a pastoral role to safeguard children and young people.

- Engage all children and young people with a range of musical opportunities in and out of school.
- Help young people develop their musical interests and talent into potential employment.
Location & Salary
Location: Kendal, Cumbria
Salary: £28,598 – £29,540 per annum.
This role includes hybrid working but requires face‑to‑face meetings and programme delivery across Cumbria.
