Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations and you’ll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in the office – Perth, Inverness, Glasgow or Aberdeen
Salary: £34,749 – £40,939 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
As a Project Information Officer, you will take ownership of the information environment that supports major infrastructure projects from early development through to final handover. You will set up and manage project systems such as Viewpoint and Autodesk Forma, ensure information is structured and governed correctly, and help teams access and trust the data they rely on every day. Working closely with project colleagues and external partners, you will support consistent ways of working, resolve system and data issues, and drive improvements that make information easier to find, share and use.
You will
- Act as the system administrator for project information and document management platforms, ensuring they are configured correctly from day one.
- Set up projects, including folder structures, metadata, workflows, permissions and naming conventions.
- Support internal teams and external suppliers with document control activities, day-to-day system queries and lead system training sessions.
- Manage user access, onboarding and training, helping users work confidently and consistently.
- Maintain data quality, governance and compliance, and support audits, reporting, and continuous improvement activities.
You have
- Experience as a system administrator or advanced user of information or document management systems.
- Strong attention to detail when handling project information, including external deliverables.
- Experience configuring workflows, metadata, permissions and system structures.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work effectively with project teams and supply chain partners.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650, BIM or CDE environments, or experience working on large or regulated projects is desirable.
