Overview
This opportunity invites you to join the Greater London Authority’s Human Resources senior leadership team. You will be part of a team transitioning from the provision of direct services to a shared services arrangement with Transactional HR delivered by Transport for London and strategic HR in the new people function at the GLA.
This role sits in the new people function and will lead the GLA’s response to the Independent Review. It is a critical time for the GLA, and you will support the Assistant Director for Human Resources and Organisational Development and the GLA’s Chief Officer in implementing the 42 recommendations arising from the report.
You will navigate organisational complexities and structures, drive real change to improve equality, diversity, and inclusion, and act as an enabler of change. As a subject matter expert, you will shape your approach to supporting the GLA in becoming wholly inclusive, antiracist, and an employer of choice.
It is a senior-level role in a complex political or business organization, building effective working relationships within and outside of the organisation, and partnering with peers in other GLA groups on joint initiatives.
The role will be based at City Hall, Royal Docks (Kamal Chunchie Way, London, E16 1ZE). Hybrid working allows up to 3 days a week in the office plus remote work.
