What will I be doing?
- Predominantly this role will develop, deliver and monitor projects to increase participation and recycling, delivering education and awareness campaigns throughout the area and supporting the contract’s operational services.
- As a key member of the Municipal Operations Team, your role will be to encourage positive recycling behaviour, as part of a wide reaching and varied programme developed with our customers.
- The successful candidate will have a passion for the environment and the desire to make a difference.
What are the requirements?
- You will need to be a natural communicator and have the confidence to stand up in front of a range of different audiences and build positive relationships with them and other key stakeholders.
- Having experience in developing, delivering and evaluating your own projects, will mean that you are confident at working on your own and with others to make these happen.
- You will also be working with people at all levels, so you will need to be adaptable in order to communicate effectively with them.
- With such a varied role, good prioritisation and multi tasking skills will be essential in order to deliver excellent work on time and to the required standards.
- An understanding of the waste industry or experience in an educational or communications based role would be an advantage, but is not essential.
- A full UK driving license is essential for the role.
