Network & Security Engineer (Support) – Banking & Finance

They are seeking a skilled Network & Security Engineer to support the bank’s data network and all other aspects of networking including firewall and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of network-related incidents, managing them from initial alert through to resolution
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across the infrastructure environment
• Provide excellent customer service when communicating with end users and stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal teams to support incident management and service delivery
• Coordinate with and manage third-party vendors to drive timely incident resolution
• Maintain and update comprehensive network diagrams, documentation, and technical records
• Create new network documentation where required to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Deliver project activities in line with agreed timelines and objectives
• Support the successful execution of network and data infrastructure projects assigned to the team
• Contribute to the achievement of team goals through effective planning, coordination, and delivery of technical tasks

Required Skills/Qualifications

• CCNP level routing / switching
• Meraki
• Checkpoint firewalls
• Exposure to ISE

Location

• 3x per week London

Salary

• Up to £65,000
