Description:We are hiring for our client who is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This Quantity Surveyor role offers the opportunity to manage all costs relating to construction projects, from initial calculations through to final accounts, ensuring value for money while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

The Role:
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning
- Manage project finances and monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle
- Evaluate contractor bids and negotiate contracts
- Assess and value work completed on-site
- Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks
- Prepare and present financial reports
- Ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirements
The Person:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost control
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in relevant software (Excel, cost management systems)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
