Legal Secretary Conveyancing
Location: Belfast
Salary: £25k £30k DOE
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their busy Conveyancing department, providing direct support to a Director within the firm.
This is an excellent opportunity for a secretary with conveyancing experience who is confident managing a busy workload and providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support from file opening through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the Director with a busy conveyancing caseloadAudio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondenceOpening, maintaining and closing conveyancing filesPreparing contracts, letters, forms and completion documentsLiaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, solicitors and third partiesManaging diaries, appointments and key datesHandling incoming calls, emails and general client queriesAssisting with post-completion administration and file managementProviding wider administrative support to the conveyancing department when required
The Candidate
Previous legal secretarial experience, ideally within conveyancingStrong typing, organisational and communication skillsConfident dealing with clients and third partiesHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailAble to manage a busy workload and work to deadlinesProfessional, proactive and capable of supporting at Director level
