Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Financial Director / Financial Controller at Deakin & Francis, located in Birmingham, UK. The successful candidate will bring strong financial leadership experience, commercial awareness, and strategic thinking, with the ability to operate within a heritage-led family business environment. The role will involve overseeing financial planning, reporting, and analysis across the business, while ensuring strong financial controls and processes are maintained throughout.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong financial leadership experience with the ability to support both day-to-day operations and long-term business growth.
- Commercial awareness and strategic thinking, with confidence in guiding financial decision-making across the business.
- Ideally, previous experience within a manufacturing or product-led environment.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a long-established family business, understanding the importance of heritage, relationships, and continuity.
