Job Title: Credit Controller
Location: Chelmsford Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Maximise cash collections, working to a weekly cash target
- Chase outstanding debts by telephone, email and letter
- Investigate and resolve invoice queries
- Liaise with key stakeholders
- Provide reporting and real-time information as required
- Focus on reducing age debt over 90 days +
- Identify unallocated cash receipts from the bank statement and resolve
- Keep ledgers tidy with a view to reducing the number of accounts, ensuring proper housekeeping of write-offs / matching / unallocated cash actioned regularly
- Promote the department by maintaining the relationship with our customers, both internal and external in a positive and professional manner at all times
